I am saddened to hear of Mrs. Wardle's death. I knew her as "Elizabeth III" in the Area III Office of the Atlanta Public Schools. Mrs. Wardle was intellectually brilliant, remarkably astute, kind, mischievious, and, refreshingly, had almost no tolerance for foolishness. She was one of my immediate favorites! I was the new music specialist in 1985 and we often shared anecdotes and questions about the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, in which my husband played French Horn. She was a real asset to me...

Ceylene McGinnis and I want to express our condolences. Elizabeth was in our exercise class at the Center For Positive Aging. I wrote a few notes to her after she was unable to attend. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
