Not sure what to say?

Dear Dawn, Bill and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Betty's passing. She was such a warm smiling lady, I loved spending time at their house and yours. When I read her life history, it didn't surprise me a bit that she cared for so many people. She will be missed and I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Dawn and Bill,
I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a fantastic, loving person and every time I saw her she brightened my day. Know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Ruth
