Not sure what to say?

We are so sorry to hear of Ann's passing. She was a special lady and a wonderful neighbor. She will be missed by us and her neighbors on Phelps Luck Drive. We offer deepest sympathy to Ann's family.

Anne was a most compasionate person who helped others in very personal ways as well as in policy, administrative, and advocacy roles. Over the years I worked with Anne on numerous human services boards and committees and will remember her courageous commitment to helping people as well as the courage in her own health related struggles. To her family, sincere sympathy and wishes to take comfort in the memories we all have of this wonderful, caring lady.

I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Since 2001 she has been an active member of the Mental Health Authority Board of Directors. She was a lovely lady and will be missed.

I offer my deepest sympathy to Ann's family and pray that God will help you all during this difficult time. Ann sat on the board of Howard County Mental Health Authority (where I'm presently employed) and I would always enjoy chatting and working with her. I missed her when she left Columbia because I would love to go over and chat with her or see her sometimes when I walked on the path at the back of her house. I will miss her even more now. She was such a beautiful person.

I send my deepest sympathies to the family of Mrs.Wicke.I worked as her aide at charlestown. I only new her for a short time but in that time it was obvious that she was a very special lady. She gave off this presence of calm and realness, that what you see is what you get Just being around her made me feel good. I will miss her smiling face and gentle spirit.

I was so sad to hear of your mom's passing. She was a lovely woman and was so very welcoming to me, particularly in those early college years. I can still recall her driving her Subaru and the smell of her perfume. She was a very gentle person and the love for her children was so very evident in everything she said and did. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I mowed Mrs. Wicke's lawn for a number of years when I was growing up in Columbia. She was such a wonderful person and will be missed. My condolences to Beth, Margaret and Steve and the entire Wicke family. Chris Varney, Sioux City, IA

Sending condolences to the family. Haven't seen the family in a long time, but have wonderful childhood memories from the neighborhood. Thinking of you!

Ann was a truly GOOD person, a deeply caring soul, a great teacher and mentor, a kind, loving and generous friend. She was also clearly an amazing mother...the way her children, none of whom live locally, cared for her in her illness is a testimony to that. I will miss her.
