Not sure what to say?

To Bill, Tom, and the Wise family, I was very much saddened to hear of Bette's passing. She was such a good friend to my Mom and I always enjoyed her visits--I think they were "mostly" playing cards! She was always very supportive and had a great sense of humor. She and my Mom are probably somewhere playing cards right now and cringing over our misuses of the words "finished" and "done". I know you will all miss her terribly--hopefully your many fond memories of her will help a little. She...

I recently heard about the death of "Mrs. Wise" and wanted to extend my condolences. She was by far my favorite teacher at St. Monica's and taught 7th grade with such a sense of humor, kindness and compassion. When I heard the news of her passing, I wanted to let the family know that someone from many years ago remembers her fondly!

Thinking of the Wise family during this time of loss. My parents enjoyed each and every bridge game with Bill and Bette. I so valued the guidance your mother provided me as a teacher and as a confirmation sponsor. She was a gentle soul. I will always remember her smile. My mother, despite her life changing stroke will be at the funeral. Of all things, your mother will be remembered as a dear friend to the Carter family.

All four of our children were fortunate to have Bette as a teacher at St.Monica's.No one more dedicated. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. We are sure she is with the Lord The Speich Family

Bette was a very kind, caring and generous lady. My family will always be grateful for the kindnesses you both showed our father after our mother died. I know he really appreciated the dinners she made for him. I have many lovely memories of Bette and I know you do, too. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Bill, and your family.

My favorite teacher at St. Monica's. To this day I still think, "Meat is done. You are finished." everytime someone says to me "I'm done.". Thank you Mrs. Wise for all your help in 8th grade. My condolences to Bill and the entire family.
