Not sure what to say?

I was very sad to hear of Elizabeth's death even though years later. I was surprised to learn that it was Elizabeth was wrote Prozac Nation. I heard of the book but never thought to look up who wrote it. I used to babysit for Elizabeth when she was about 6 to the age of about 9. Her and her mom lived in the same building that my family and I lived in on the Upper West Side on 95th St. my family moved out in 1977 and lost touch with them both. She was a precocious little girl and always full...

Very saddened by this loss. A wonderful mind.

RIP

We are saddened to hear of the loss of your dearly beloved daughter, friend, fans and all of those whose lives she touched through her bestselling memoir "Prozac Nation" on details of her own battle with depression. May you fine comfort with you during this difficult time in your lives and in your wealth of fond memories together. May the God of tender mercies, love, peace and comfort be with you all during this most difficult time.

Rest In Peace Lizziie. you made me laugh, and thats a lot. ❤

Her very honest assessment of herself is ultimately reflected to a certain extent in the lives of many of us who internalized many of the same dark feelings she had, but her revealing of same was a balm to those she unwittingly helped to "weather the storm." May she rest in peace.

I am sorry regarding the loss of your loved one. May the God of Comfort. continue to comfort the family, during these difficult times.

It was devastating to hear that Elizabeth Wurtzel died of cancer at the cruelly young age of 52. The reasons why she meant so much to me are both so cliché and so real: how her painfully honest, self-indulgent, funny, insightful accounts of her emotional struggles spoke the truth for me. Me and all the other Gen X women who grew up in relative privilege and inner struggle and middle class dysfunction.
Prozac Nation was the life raft that kept us afloat during the story 20 something...

I love you and I miss you and my heart is so shattered right now.
