Our sincere sympathy and prayers for family and friends. Louise taught our children at the HS. I knew her when I worked for the Methodist church as church secretary. I saw her when I was helping a friend go to the food pantry also, and when walking with friends at SRU. She was loved and will be missed by many.

Mrs. Ekas was one of my favorite teachers. I had her in 9th and 10th grade. She is the one who got me to know how to type without looking at my fingers. She was a wonderful lady. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Mrs. Ekas at SR High School. She was one of my favorite teachers. So kind and patient. Ran into her years ago in Slippery Rock and she was just as kind and compassionate. Condolences to all her family & friends.
