Ella Griggs

I think of Ella often from back in the 60´s. I spent so much time at her and her sister´s house. The reason I think of her so much now is because one of her daughters lives across the street from me and every time I pass her house, I think of Ella Mae. None of us had a lot of material things, but we did have a lot of love for each other.

My dynamic Ella. You were a gem to the family. The love you have shown for me and your family was phenomenal. You were our mothers, fathers, grandfather and grandmother. You had a heart of a giant. You loved us unconditionally. You accepted us and welcomed us with opened arms. For everything you have done I feel like the greatest gift I can do is honor you by doing my best everyday and fight for whatever is important to me. I Love All of You. Rest peacefully My queen.
