In Memory of Ella Mae Cater Mosley Funeral services for Ella Mae Cater Mosley, 74, of Columbia were held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 26, 2008 at the Shady Grove Church of God, Holly Ridge, with Bro. Harold Spillers officiating. Interment followed in McKnight Cemetery, Holly Ridge, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville. Mrs. Mosley was born October 22, 1934 in Dumas, AR and passed away December 23, 2008 in Alexandria, LA after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Mosley was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Carrie Cater and an infant brother. Survivors include her 4-children, Navonda Maxwell and husband, Elton, Sr. of Hebert, LA, Alice Faye Tucker of Bossier City, LA, Steve Edward Tucker and wife, Sherry of Hebert, LA, and Robert Lee Mosley and wife, Becky of Chatham, LA; brother, David Cater and wife, Louise of Rayville, LA; 4-sisters, Valerie Cox of Nashville, AR, Margaret "Marty" Williams and husband, Lee of Rayville, LA, Ernestine Murrill of Mobile, AL, and Johnnie Sanford and Earl of Coden, AL; 19-grandchildren; 13-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Larry Sanford, Jeffrey Mosley, Clifton Mosley, Elton "Little Elton" Maxwell, Jr., Jeff Duchesne, and Gary Cater. Honorary Pallbearers were Sonny Dyer and Willie Duchesne.
