Rest in heaven Ella, what a servant, it's a true testament that after all these years since your passing when I enter the First Baptist Church of Glenarden I still remember your service as an usher. To the Phelps Family -
I was so sorry to hear about the untimely death of Ella. Ella was a dear friend of mine. I really enjoyed working with her at the SEC. Ella always had a smile on her face and a great sense of humor. She was a happy person all of the time. My prayers are with the entire family at this time. Stay strong and let God do the rest.

I just wanted to say that Ms. Ella was partly responsible for my coming back to vist FBCG back in September of 2003. I became a member 2 months later. I came to bible study for the first time in September 2003 and there were no more seats in the sanctuary. Ms. Ella directed me to the over flow room. I went to the overflow, found a seat and was very content with where I was sitting. At the very start of the service Ms. Ella came back to the overflow room to tell me she found a seat for me in...
