113! wow! rest in peace

It's amazing that a person can live a whole century and have a foot in each of two others! The things she witnessed!

It's special to hear that Aunt Ella was ambitious and wanted to learn to use a computer. I know she liked to read and continued learning throughout her life.

Truly amazing!

It is gratifying to hear the emerging stories and to reflect with gratitude upon them.

I well remember the pickup truck and camper, particularly on one occasion in the 60's when Uncle John and Aunt Ella returned to Virginia for a visit with the Shuler relatives back east. I think all of us nephews received a $5 bill pressed into our hand. Amazing to a child!

I directed the choir. She would shake my hand and tell me how much she enjoyed the choir. When I took it away there was a $20 bill in my hand. She'd say,...

Wonderful woman that had a blessed life!!

So sorry to hear this :(

I am very sorry to hear about the death of Mrs. Schuler. When I was a little girl I lived on Lindenwood. I can remember walking to their grocery store. It was an experience I will never forget. She was always very kind. At that time, Mrs. Schuler and her husband lived in the house next to the store.
