I want the family of Lady Ella A. Williams-Vinson to know that they have my deepest and most heart-felt sympathy. I was deeply sadden when I heard about the passing of my dear friend and TLOD sister. I always enjoyed the times I spent with her at Area IV Conferences and Syn-Lods. She was a lady of great wisdom and advice. She had a great sense of humor which made sharing a meal with her delightful and pleasant. She always looked for me and Lady Jewel Collins, and would save a seat for us...

I am so very sad to hear about the passing of such a great lady. It was an honor for me to meet Ms. Williams-Vinson soon after becoming mayor. I was amazed to learn how much she did for so many people. She had a great and fulfilling life that we should all aspire to follow. And she touched so many people. We are all blessed to have known her. My thoughts, prayers, and love to all that mourn her passing.

Ella was an elegant and great lady. I enjoyed working with she and Bob at the North Carolina Museum of History. She touched many people and will be missed.

Ella Williams not only taught me school work in third grade at Briarcliff Elementary (1970-1971), she taught me about race relations by her actions and open heart. This was the first year of integration at Briarcliff. Mrs. Williams took groups of us to her home in Cary after school so that we could play with Marlon. I remember how excited I was that this awesome older kid (Marlon) would let us noisy white kids jump on his bed. By her actions, Mrs. Williams taught me that the color of a...

My deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Lady Ella. She was an extraordinary Lady and I will truly miss her at Top Ladies of Distinction,Inc. Conferences.
I used to joke with her about her soft but high pitched voice and she would
just laugh her special laugh. You all will be in my prayers.
