Read MoreElla lived a long and wonderful life, but I will really miss her. I have so many good memories of her from Blue Birds through high school. I loved being able to travel with her to California and Hawaii and Europe. So many people loved her and you three daughters and relatives took such good care of her so she could stay in her own house, which is amazing. I'm sad that she's gone but happy that she's not suffering.

I met Mrs Grimes when I was in college with her dear daughter Gail in the DG house at the U of O. I´m so sorry Grimes Family that you lost your beloved mother. She has a great legacy in all of you! Love Franzi
