Ellen Patricia Alberding

We became friends with Pat and Russ when they lived in Lake Bluff. We continued the friendship when they moved to Chicago and had lunch with them frequently. Lunches with Pat continued after Russ died. One particular lunch was at a restaurant located mid-block on Michigan Avenue. Pat would meet us there. For some reason, her transportation dropped her off at the corner cross street. Pat started to walk down the street with difficulty. Out of nowhere, 3 large men in pineapple costumes...

We´ve many happy thoughts of good times, good meals, and good vibes with Pat. You brought goodness whenever we were with you

My condolences to Ellen's family. I did not have the opportunity to meet Ellen, but I know her daughters, who credited her for their remarkable successes in family and career. She must have been so proud of you and her grandchildren. RIP.
