Not sure what to say?

It will be 5 years this Monday since Ellen went to Heaven. I felt just as sad today, after re-reading her obit., as I did 5 years ago. She was such a good friend. Her family and mine shared, as neighbors, such a wonderful relationship. So many happy memories from my childhood. I think of her so often. My very best friend. Eleanore Marsac

I think of my friend Ellen often. It's almost 4 years now and this past Sunday would have been her 81st birthday and was also Mother's Day. I miss the nice cards she made for my birthday and I miss not being able to phone her and just chat. We always had stories to tell about our kids. She was the first friend I made when we moved in next door to her family in Uniondale, N.Y. She was Special. God Bless Her Husband and Children.

It's been three years since Ellen's passing and I miss my friend very much. I always remember her on her birthday and at other times of the year. She was Maid of Honor at my wedding. I am heartbroken to hear of my Dear Friend Ellen's passing. We have been friends since 1950 and although we haven't seen each other for some 45+ years we have keep in touch by letter, phone and e-mail all these years. May God Bless her Husband and Children and help them at this very sad time. I will miss my Friend but will see her again in Heaven one day. Eleanore Marsac

Ellen was a dear friend of my mother LaVerne Watts. I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Ellen was always happy when Robbie was coming home for visits. She always had a craft or activity that her and Robbie were going to do when he came home. She always made sure Robbie and her would make stuff not just for Robbie but for all his friends that lived on his unit. I know Ellen will be deeply missed by the staff the individuals and the families of the individuals that reside at Shapiro Center. I will keep you in my prayers. Michele Hilgert
