Swartz Funeral Home - Flint Obituary

BAHU, Ellen died peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Pleasant View (Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility). She had been a resident in Swartz Creek for many years. Ellen was born in Ramleh, Palestine. She was born on April 3, 1940, daughter of the late Salim and Mary Birouty. Ellen was married to George Bahu on April 23, 1961 in Ramallah, Palestine. Ellen was a precious and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, George Bahu, and is survived by her daughters Linda, Lucy and Lilian, their husbands and three grand-children and one great-grandson. Ellen came from a family of four brothers and two sisters. One sister survives her. Ellen was known for her amazing Arabic cooking and hospitality, also for her unselfishness and strong love for Jehovah God. She always wore a beautiful smile! The family would like to thank all of their wonderful family members as well as their loving friends from many congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses for their love and support during this difficult time. Also, a very special thank you to the amazing staff at Pleasant View for the deep love and compassion they showed. She was surrounded by such loving people! We will always be grateful for what they did.

Revelation 21:4 promises God "will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more."

In lieu of flowers, please feel free to send donations to Watchtower Bible & Tract Society at JW.org, Donations. Thank you.

Our family deeply appreciates your kind and loving support.
