Sept 6, 1940 - April 6, 2013 Ellen Belzer, 72, passed away April 6, 2013 at Kansas City Hospice House. Visitation 6-8pm, Wednesday, April 10 at Muehlebach Funeral Home where the rosary will be prayed at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am, Thursday at St. Elizabeth Church, 75th and Main St., Kansas City, MO. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Kansas City Hospice or St. Elizabeth Church. Ellen was born September 6, 1940 in Kansas City, MO to Walter and Anna Marie Bensing. She graduated from Lillis High School. Ellen was a member of B.P.O Does #74 and St. Elizabeth Church. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Milton Belzer; sons, David and wife Susan, Robert, Michael and wife Lisa, Danny and wife Jana, and William Belzer; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Walter Bensing and wife Heddy; and her nieces and nephews. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Richard and Charles Bensing; a sister, Mary Staihr. Condolences may be left for the family at www.muehlebachchapel.com.
