Ellen D. Burns

Mrs Burns was my 4th grade teacher at Marshall Grade School. She was my favorite grade school teacher. A very kind lady. Unfortunately she lost her son that year a was unable to return to our classroom. Her loss affected our entire class. I know Ellen's daughter Julie and family better than I actually knew Ellen. However, it was because of the opportunity to serve many years as pastor to Julie and family that my wife Mary (we served as co-pastors) and I grew to appreciate Ellen as well.
