Not sure what to say?

Ellen, I'll always remember how much you really cared, and the effort you made to help another human being and to make the world a nicer place...as you did for me. I'll always remember your courage, grace, and intelligence. You always encouraged me to grow and to be my own person and indeed I am, but not without some love from you. Thank you Ellen. Love always, Erika

You are truly missed and thought of often.

Hi Aunt Ellen,
I know we didn't get to see each other often but I really felt like every minute we spent together counted for you. You will always hold a special place in my heart. I miss you and love you so much!
Love, Lauren

Ellen, so dear to my heart and so missed. So many times I think of something to tell you or just need to hear your voice and my heart breaks again. We've missed your loving, gracious guidance but, as sister Julia says, I know in my heart that you're watching and guiding us still. I love you...Nelda

Dear Ellen, today one year ago, you called me to tell me you loved me. That was the last time I ever talked to you. Had I only known! You are such a beautiful, caring person and I miss you so much. I know you are watching over us all, doing all the "behind the scene" things you always did to make us happy and never took credit for. I talk to you every day and miss you very much. We will have a lot to catch up on one of these days! Until then, know that I love you and am so grateful for the...

"Nini"--
I am so lucky to have had the privilege to live with you, my favorite Aunt, for basically the first two years of my college experience. I never realized it then, of course, but your wisdom, grace, guidance, and love taught me so much about life. My memories of you will never be forgotten; my trips to Myrtle Beach will never be the same. I love you and miss you so much.
Love Nicole

Dear Ellen - My dear sister, friend and surrogate mother. I still miss you very much, to hear you call me and say "This is yo big sistuh". I don't have your shoulder to cry on nor your wit to raise my spirits anymore. I know you are so proud of your children - they handled all the arrangements so beautifully. I know the funeral was exactly what you would have ordered! I love you and cant wait until I see you again. Love, Jua

I had the pleasure of working with Ellen at the Chamber of Commerce for about 4 years. She was a wonderful person, kind, polite and always there to help. She had a special way about her, she made my days with the Chamber even better, each day. I'm so sorry to learn that she has passed away. I'm thankful to have known her.

Our deepest sympathies to the entire Chapman and Gray Family.
