Not sure what to say?

Dear Janine, John, Jeff, Joe and Jennifer:
Over the years, our childhood memories become more vivid and more cherished. Those memories are of confirmations, Boy/Girl Scouts, Mr. Gingrich's store, sleep overs, ice skating at Northeast Pond, basketball games, St. Gertrude's, your old station wagon and so on are imprinted forever.

It has been many years and lifetimes for me, since I've spent time in Lebanon, but my fondest memories are growing up with such a wonderful friend and...

Eulogy for Ellen Marie Deamer
by her son,
John B. Deamer Jr.,
delivered on Friday, Nov. 3, 2006

On behalf of my father and my four brothers and sisters and our seven grandchildren, I extend our fullest and faith-filled thanks to everyone who has helped us on our journey through these past 32 months -- as together we did what we could to help my mother battle a horrific disease from its initial diagnosis in February of 2004 through to her passing on Oct. 31.

There is a...

Dear Deamer Family,

I was absolutely heartbroke to her of the passing of your mother, grandmother, and wife. Ellen was a truly wonderful and inspiring woman, and although I didn't have the opportunity to be around her during her sickness I know from talking with Jeff from time to time she accepted what life dealt her and made the best her remaining time her on earth. What a truly inspiring person she was, and the way she loved her entire family was simply amazing. She will be...

Dear Jack and family,
We are saddened to hear about Ellen. We graduated together from St. Joes Hospital School of Nursing. Ellen was one of my bridesmaids. She will remain a truly beautiful and loved memory.

To my mother, my dearest friend,
Words cannot express how much I will miss you. If heaven had phone service, we would all have alot of phone bills! Thank you for all the wonderful things you have done for me my entire life. You were always there every time I needed you for anything. I will never forget all our fun trips shopping- we knew the King of Prussia Mall head to toe! I had so many great times pushing you around in your wheelchair just laughing with you. No, I did not put you...

Jack,

I was so sorry to read about Ellen. She was a wonderful lady, a great mother and a good friend. She had a great sense of humor and always made me feel welcome when I visited your home. She will be missed.

Dear Janine,

When I saw your mother passed away, I needed to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I hope as days go by, they will become easier for you and your family. You're in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you all.

Old friend from school days past,

The Panko family extends our deepest sympathies to the Deamer family as you grieve the loss of your mother, wife and grandmother. May your memories bring comfort to your soul, as you deal with your loss. Know that you are in our prayers.

Jack, John, Janine, Jeff, Joe, and Jennifer (and all the rest of my 'Deamer family')
Guys, it's terribly difficult for me to put into words (imagine that!)the terrible loss I feel for all of us. I counted your mom and my sister as a pretty special person. When I was way too young, she stepped in and did the right thing for me when no one, especially me, thought she was right. As it turned out she saved my life! What a powerful lesson she passed on...do what is right when you know in...
