I was lucky enough to be paired with Ellen as a roommate at ODU many years ago. We had so many fun times and she was always a loyal friend. Words cannot express how sad I am at the loss of a dear friend.

I just found out about this through Ellen's old roommate and friend of mine, Monica Glynn Gormley. What an amazingly huge loss on so many levels. She was so great. I remember that red hair. She was someone I really enjoyed hanging with during my ODU days. My hugs and prayers from Norfolk to her sons and her family.
