Not sure what to say?

Dear friends of Ellen, we will be having a celebration of life in Bellingham and one also in Hailey. Details are still pending, but I will post them here. -Nikki Wesel

My husband and I just learned of Ellen's passing and are saddened we won't ever see her again at their lovely home here in Hailey. She was a treasure. Our hearts go out to Don.

She was my daughters 2nd grade teacher and one of her favorites. Condolences to the family.

We loved Ellen! She taught my children and loved her students! She was always the teacher we referred to as `the one´ who made a huge impact on the kids! Whenever we bumped into her years later, she was sweet and so friendly! Darcie Creps, (Haskell)

Sending love and condolences to her partner in all things adventurous, Don. Ellen was lovely in every way. She lived life well!

Mrs. Easterbrook was my second grade teacher at Happy Valley. I have fond memories of her class. I pray for comfort for her family during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers to Mrs. Easterbrook's family and friends. I was fortunate to be a student of hers at Happy Valley Elementary for first and third grade. She was a wonderful teacher, and she will be missed.

What a privilege to call Ellen a friend. To share book club and investment club with her. The joy of working with Don and her on their houses was such a gift. A precious lady.

Mrs. Easterbrook was one of my grade-school teachers back in the 1980's at Happy Valley Elementary School. She was a gem, and one of those teachers I have fond memories of, especially her genuine caring and sense of humor. I'm glad she lived a long and full life. Rest in peace teach! -Mark V., Bellingham
