Not sure what to say?

Marc and Jamie:

We were all so sad to hear of Ellen's passing. I was just thinking about running into you in Ann Arbor and that we were going to get together. I'm hesitant to intrude at this moment, but please call me when you can and let's get together.

It is usually hard to capture the essence of a person. But with Ellen, I think the word "selfless" defines her best. Her last act of heroism and selflessness proves that. I know her untimely passing will leave a hole in the lives of those that loved her for years to come. It is my wish that her spirit guide us to perform acts of loving kindness, selfless deeds and love. What better tribute could there be? (Who else would make grilled cheese sandwiches and take off the crusts?) A...

Dear Marc, Jamie, David, Matt, Joyce, David, Sara and Sandy, I can not begin to express to you how sorry I am about your loss, there are no words, only love. Please find strength to get through this. I did not know her long, but you really didn't have to know her long at all, to love her. She was right out there, what you saw was what you got, there was no hiding that heart of gold. She loved you all so much, enough to last forever. Please find peace in her love for you, that is what she...

Mr. Freed, David, Jamie, and Matt:
I can't even express how sad and shocked I was to here of Mrs. Freed's passing. She is somebody that I will always remember. My prayers are with you.

Marc, Joyce, David, Jamie, Matthew,
Ellen and I were wonderful friends during our high school years. I treasure my memories of our great times together. I hope, that with time, you will be comforted by your memories. May G-d grant you all the strength to get through this very difficult time and help you to find a path toward healing. My thoughts and prayers will always be with you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Marc and family,
I was saddened to hear of Ellen's passing. Although I did not know her personally, and only know Marc through business, I know that she will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her life. My God be with you during this difficult time.

Marc, David, Jamie, Matthew and Joyce: I have such wonderful memories of Ellen that I can say with certainty, she will always be a part of me. As her youngest bratty cousin, Joyce and I used to drive her and Laura (Lippstone) crazy. Our family spent so much time with the Browns that I thought they were an extension of our family. The last time I saw Ellen was at the unveiling of my mother's (Eleanore Brown) headstone. She had a gleam in her eyes and a smile that was so comforting in our...
