Not sure what to say?

I did not know Ellen, but I was at the scene shortly thereafter. I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I have thought of her almost constantly since that fateful day. My heart hurts for you and your family. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. Sincerely - Marion Kakis-Young

I am terribly sorry for your loss. I did not know Ellen much but can sympathize on some level with the loss of a close relative and parent. My thoughts are with you.

You and your family are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers in this very delicate time. Please let me know if there is absolutely anything you need. God Bless and take care of each other.

I'll always remember Ellen for two things. One: she was a big Star Trek fan, and we had that in common, and two: she was a heck of a competitive street hockey player; a proper leader for the whole Gamboa clan. She'll be missed dearly and remembered fondly.

Dear Eli,
Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Our hearts go out to you in this tragic time. Love, Susan, Justin and Whitney Izzo
