Not sure what to say?

16 years feels like forever. Rip to the best music teacher ever

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Although I have not seen Ellie in many many years, I have very fond memories of her at Sequoia. She was always a leader and a special person so I am not surprised to read what a wonderful teacher she was to so many.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family who lost her far too soon.

There's no way to explain how i felt as i heard of not only a teacher but a best friend like Mrs. Goldfarb had passed. I only graduated 2 years ago and still remember all the things that she ever taught me. Ill never forget the last thing she said to me in 193. "Chose your new friends wisely." i knew this would always effect me because when i first stepped foot into 193 i chose her a my friend for life. As i think back on thos 6 years i had with her i just wished we could be together now. Two...

Words can not express the sadness I felt in learning of Ellen's demise.
She was a good friend, always there when needed. She held on as long as she could, hoping for a cure. Though she no longer suffers, she will be sorely missed. My deep felt sympathy to you Doris, Morty, Illysa, Lori and your families.

Mrs. Goldfarb was a very special person to me and my sister ana. She was my music teacher 2000-2005. I moved to Florida my 4th grade year and missed her so much because she inspired me to do so many things and she is the resone i act and sing and do anything theatrical really, she is the resone i want to be on Broadway and be a music teacher.

She always loved her students and greeted them with big hugs and every time i went to new york for vacation Id make sure to go say hi to her...

Not only was Ellen a superb music teacher, she was a kind, generous and caring friend. Our love of Broadway musicals was only one thing that we had in common. I could tell her anything and she would never judge me. She was there for me in good times and bad times. She will be missed so much by my children and by my husband and I. Ellie Belle, there will never be anyone like you in my life again.Love always Jannie

There will never be another Ellen. She was truly one of a kind. Her spirit and zest for living continues through Ilyssa and Lori and future generations. She will be missed.
