Not sure what to say?

Ellen was my closest friend while we were both living in Ann Arbor in the 1970s. We had so much girl-talk, sharing our experiences about relationships and our ambivalence about demanding careers. We attended each other's weddings but then fell out of touch. I'm so so sad to read about her passing.

I was a classmate of Ellen at Grosse Pointe North High School. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Everything you have written about her is true; she was selfless, giving, cheerful and full of life. My condolences to the family. - Carol Appleton Holloway

Hi Chris: I'm sorry that I didn't write to you sooner. But I want to say that it was such a great pleasure to know Ellen. I remember her vitality, her sense of fun and adventure, and her friendly spirit. I like to think of her best as she appears in the LRP Secret Valley of Racing documentary - so full of energy and excitement as she says "Where's the next flag station!" My thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless!
