Not sure what to say?

Jon, I still have fond memories of checking on your Mom at the Antique store. I now work up in Cooper Twp and pass that old school house everyday and miss stopping by and seeing her.
They say you never die as long as there is someone to remember you.

Many memories I have over the years. Our sympathies.

My thoughts are with you Sue and your family. What a beautiful tribute to your Mother in the Gazette. Good memories of Early reunions. Your cousin, Julie Berner Mattison.

Sorry to read of Ellen's passing. I had not seen her in recent years even though we were cousins. Her Mother Opal and my Grandmother Oariel were sisters. I am currently in FL for the winter or I would be there to celebratye her Life. Sincerely H. William "Bill" Moerdyk

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Haskell's passing. She was my teacher for grades 4-6, a leader at my family's church and such a thoughtful friend to my mother and sister. She was a strong woman, a devoted Christian woman and a great inspiration to all who knew her. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family.

Mrs. Haskell was my 3rd and 5th grade teacher, as well as my music teacher at Cooper elementary. Lovely lady. You have my sympathies.

Jon, Sue and the rest of your family. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. She was such a sweet and talented lady.

She will be missed greatly. Our sympathies go out to her family.

My sincere condolences to the Haskell family. Mrs Haskell was a sweet lady who owned and operated an antique store in the old school house at D Ave & 12th St. I always worried about her being there alone. When I was working at the Sheriff's Dept I would always look in on her and sit in the parking lot doing reports whenever I could. She will certainly be missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace in the Kingdom of Heaven.
