I attended grammar school with Ellen. I didn't see her after my family left Springfield in the 10th grade, but I remember her well. She was a wonderful person. Rest in peace, Ellen.

I am sorry to learn of Ellen's passing. I am Ellen's first cousin, George Lewenczuk. My work has taken me away from MA and I have not seen Ellen in many years. I now live in Missouri. My Mom, Elisabeth Heideman-Lewenczuk was her dad's sister.

I grew up with Ellen during the 1950's and 60's as we lived two doors away from her home. Very sorry to hear of Ellen's passing. Please accept my condolences.

She loved to walk the Enfield Mall. She shared my life, my family and her family with me. Our conversations were simply about real life experiences. I greatly admired her courage to live each day to the fullest despite many physical,...
