Ellen was a special friend in grade school at Jefferson in DeKalb. During our 5th grade year we played "jacks" every day after lunch. I cannot remember a single time spent with Ellen that didn't include laughter and fun. That was true in 2019 too, when I chatted with Ellen and Mark, at our 1969 50th class reunion. I am so grateful I got to see her then, and so lucky that Ellen Prober was my beautiful friend.

Lea, Rita and Ann, I am so sorry to hear about Ellen. I enjoyed growing up in the same neighborhood as you and playing with you as a child and going to your home.
