Not sure what to say?

Dear Betsy, David, and Family:
Life is more precious than we sometimes realize. How blessed Ellen and Mandy were to meet in Kindergarten and maintain a friendship spanning the miles between Toledo and San Francisco for nearly 20 years. Words cannot express the sadness we feel. May memories of your wonderful daughter comfort you now and always.

Words fail. Ellen will be remembered always.

Ellen and I shared many fond memories throughout high school. She will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to the Kolasky family. May you be comforted during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy goes out to those of you Ellen has left behind. While here at the U of M there was many a Friday afternoon when Ellen and friends would borrow my Dog Duke to take for a romp in the park or maybe a swim in the river...Duke loved the time he got to spend with her...She will be truely missed!

ellen, thank you for touching my life for a moment that will last forever ... be well

Dear Kolaskys,
I am speechless. Ellen was my partner in crime, in childhood games and in piano duets. My memories of her are, and will remain, precious. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

She made our work to connect politics and environmental protection in the hearts and minds of students and Michigan residents truly rewarding and.... fun! I can still see her smile, a smile that I was graced with when I unexpectedly ran into her at Zingerman's in January. I'll...

I remember Ellen as an energetic, smart, dynamic kid! She will be missed. My deepest sympathies to the Kolasky family and to the friends that Ellen has left behind.

I'll miss the summer thanksgivings and your good nature. take care.
