Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry this is so late, but I just learned of Jeannie's untimely passing. My family moved to Igo when Jeannie was 10, and I remember fondly Jeannie, her sister Judy and their parents. My sister Marjorie taught pre-teen Jeannie to twirl the baton at our home on Saturday mornings. She was one of the group who would gather at the old Igo school playground to play sandlot baseball. One afternoon, she did not want me to stop hitting fly balls to her, and we were the last ones to leave. As...

Don, We have been out of town and just heard of Jeannie's passing. We are so sorry for your loss.

Jeannie, though our friendship came later in our lives, you and your family are fondly thought of each day I drive past the Power's ranch on Southfork and cast my gaze up at the old barn on the hill where we'd visit while Don & Clinton fed the cows or mended fence. I especially cherish and thank you for moments shared with the kids, conversations over a meal, and recollect the fun times sharing a game of Scrabble with you, Don & Emma. In my heart, I will always remember your sweetness, your...

Don, Justin and Clinton, where do I start? Jeannie started caring for me when I was around 5 years old. Not only did I stick around while my parents worked but started spending weekends with them as well. I remember going to the Coast to the Big Lagoon Campsite, watching Jeannie sit at the table after dinner making the boys' Halloween costumes or helping Justin with one of his assignments. Daily Don would come home for lunch and it was never soup & sandwiches, oh no, she had a 4 course...

Don and family,

So sorry for your loss. Jeannie was a wonderful person. Enjoyed the lunch time conversations and laughs at the station.

Take care Don.

Don, Justin, and Clinton.
Well here I sit after several days, contemplating just what to say to you. We go way back to when I was just a kid and Grandpa Matheson would drag me along with him up to the cabin. Francis would join us after he got off work for the week and we would fish away the weekend. Though out the entire time that Francis and Janelle were married, Jeannie as well as every Matheson made sure this poorer than dirt kid was loved and included. Then I finally grew up and moved...

Don, So sorry for the loss. Time passes by so rapidly, cherish every moment and memory. Best wishes to you and the family.

So sorry to hear this news, Don you and your family are in our prayers. Jeannie was truly a special person. Love, Kelly Hughes

Don, please accept my condolences. Jeannie was such a wonderful person throughout the entirety of her life. I know that your sons and you shall miss her dearly, but you will all be blessed with the enduring memories of her love. She was truly a country girl from beginning to end. Bright-eyed and beautiful in the way that she lived and embraced life.
