Ellen Rosita Orth Mazzara

My deepest sympathy goes out to your family! Ellen was an amazing woman of faith, an awesome mom and a dear friend! Just weeks before her passing I found a large bag of beads and string that she gave me to make rosaries! Of course, in the years that have passed since she gave me the rosary making materials (probably since Matt and Joe played basketball together on the OLV team), I had this thought to call her to invite her to lunch to catch up and ask for a refresher course on rosary...

My deepest condolences for the loss of this clearly wonderful, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and woman of faith. May you all find solace in knowing that she now feels no discomfort and rests peacefully with the Lord. Our prayers are with you all.

I am very, very sad to hear of Mrs Mazzaras passing. I knew her when her boys were in troop 83, and she was a wonderful, kind, gentle woman. The world is a far lesser place without her.
