Miss Ellen is so dearly missed. There's hardly a day that goes by that I don't think about her. She was my first "Favorite" under Contacts in my phone and I still can't bear to remove her. The most special, sweet, funny and genius-level entrepreneur who rescued me and my horses more times than I can count. This is such an incredible loss that words can't begin to describe it. "Miss Ellen" was born with more talent, grace, humor, creativity and generosity than anyone I have ever known. While she will forever be remembered worldwide as the smocking genius, she lived her life for her husband, Larry, her daughter Kerry, and her granddaughter, Lizzy. I learned to smock using Ellen´s patterns. Using Ellen´s patterns will always insure a beautiful result. Her instructions were easy to follow and the garments are a perfect fit. I can´t even imagine the impact she had on so many people that she never even met. I am one of those people.
