Not sure what to say?

You were and still were a wonderful person to be around every one at church we miss you REST in Peace

I am so sorry to not be walking this earth with Ellie! I valued working with her and experiencing her wisdom on the scholarship committee of the Committee for Women in the CRC for many years and then chatting with her in later years. Her warmth and caring were a blessing to experience.

George, I am so sorry to hear that Ellen passed on. She was such a sweet and wonderful woman. I went to church with you and Ellen. She will be missed by so many people. Ellen had such a kind heart for everyone.

Dear George, I am so sorry to hear of Ellen's passing. She is the one who got me out of America for the first extended time in my life in 2003 when I led the Hungary semester. I appreciated her support as I navigated a very new situation with my two teen-aged children in tow. My daughter Cate discovered her love for language that semester and studied in Hungary again at Calvin and also twice in Germany. We owe our family's love for European travel, to some extent, to Ellen. And I remember you...

My sympathy in your loss George. She was a fine compliment to you.

Sorry for your loss. I remember her sweet and gentle spirit. She will be missed.

George, please know of my deepest sympathy! Ellen was a terrific colleague and a wonderful person and she will be sorely missed
