To work for equality shows Ms. Overtons values, as God himself is not partial. May Gods acceptance of the righteous comfort you in this time of loss. Acts 10:34,35

One of the first residents we met at Res at TC in Wash. DC. Interesting woman who threatned to kill me if I persisted in trying to find out what she did in gov't service. I assumed it was as a spy. Serious but fun too. Never lost interest in group activities,, even when she was physicall infirm. Alway dressed to a tee. What an example she was for the rest of us retirees. Great to know a great lady.

Ellen was the friend of my older sister, Susanne Steinem Patch, and we all shared a house while I was still in high school. I am forever grateful for her support, spirit and example. I extend my love and empathy to her family and friends. She is one of the countless immigrants who have blessed this country with their talents and example. --- Gloria Steinem

Thank you for all the support you gave to women throughout your life and the kindness you gave to me, personally. You were a great person and the world has been better for you having been part of it.
