Not sure what to say?

As the time passes, it´s hard to believe such a force of nature is gone. Ellen, you are greatly missed.

Ellen was by far one of the most upbeat and positive people I knew! No one loved the theatre more than she and she had subscriptions to almost every theatre company in town. We didn't see each other often as I live in NYC, but whenever I was in Chicago, she always proved to be the most wonderful hostess! Kind, warm, fun and oh so smart, is how I would describe her. I only wish I had a chance to say good-bye.

Ellen Reiter was a true leader. As a mentor, I´m sure she did not realize the huge impact she had on me. I will forever be grateful for her support and belief in me. She was massively intelligent, a strong, determined leader and the ultimate mentor. She will be forever admired and missed.

Ellen was a wonderful client and friend to me, for over 40 years. She was a brilliant woman, and if she was your friend, there was no better friend. She wanted the best for everyone, and hated the unfairness that still exists for people of color. She was inconsolable able it. RIP Ellen

My condolences, She was my principal when we lived in Chicago and she challenged us to read books and the winners could throw water balloons at her as she laughed and praised everyone for reading so many books and she sat in a chair outside and instead we used sponges as she wore a wetsuit and it was fun, sad to discover she died, May the Lord comfort.

Burt so sorry to hear about your sister. My thoughts are with you. Take care.

Ellen I will miss our many times laughing together, eating at your home and at restaurants and hearing how much you enjoyed some special dessert my wife made for you. I will miss learning from you and hearing about how to be a real "jetsetter!" Your legacy will continue on in me with every educational leader I come in contact with.
