Ellen was my mentor, my friend and someone whom I learned more from than I can ever have imagined. She gave me the strength to delve into art quilting and be proud of what I do. I never would have or could have achieved making The Women of Valor Quilts for The Breman Museum without her. I will always dedicate these quilts to her memory for she was s true woman of valor.

Ellen's kindness and sharing has certainly made a difference to people all around the world. We will all miss you; thank you for being a part of our lives.
