Ellen Seeley

Especially as the holidays approach, the ache of missing my mother increases and invariably as I think of her I think about Ellen. Her friendship with my mother at Somerset meant so much to her. They shared time together and they shared interests such as my mother's collection of owls and Ellen's of pigs. Every time I see a pig sculpture or other such item I think of Ellen and of Mother's joy in buying a "pig" item for Ellen, just as Ellen brought such gifts to my mother. So I miss them both....

I remember Ellen with deep affection. I knew her in the mid-60s to early 70s, and although I have not seen her in years, I often think of her and of her kindness as well as her great sense of humor. She was so down to earth but had a wonderfully sweet nature at the same time. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

My deepest sympathies for all of Ellen's family at this difficult time. Ellen was such an important and wonderful friend to my mother, Evelyn Pace, at Somerset Assisted Living. I lost my mother March 14, 2015. The 2 1/2 years that she lived there were enriched by her friendship with Ellen I loved taking the two of them to movies and once for Happy Hour at Stanfords.
