Ellen Tones

Ellen and I were best friends since 2nd grade. We were famous for our crazy fun....and we did some wonderful fun things. We cut school to go to the NYC St. Patrick's Day parade, I called to chat with her and found her in ICU.so our conversation was very limited but I'm so glad she knew I was there. RIP my dear, best school buddy.

A very thoughtful and caring person, it was always a joy being in Ellen's presence or simply speaking on the phone as she naturally had a way to brighten the day. A true inspiration and remarkable woman, Ellen is missed by many.

Ellen was one of the kindest people I knew. She shared a very special friendship with my mother Wanda Schrouder . We will all miss her bubbly personality. Rest in peace, Ellen.
