Not sure what to say?

I met Ellen when I was a confused young woman making my way in the world. She was always kind and there with great advice and friendship, She was full of grace and a great sense of humor. She was so excited when her son was born as she really wanted a child. Sorry to hear that Carl also passed close to her.l Our condolences to her son and family. She is missed.

I was checking the Internet to see if I could find Ellen White and alas I did. I worked with Ellen in Hunter's Books in Beverly Hills for several years in the 1980s. We were good friends, saw a number of movies together, ate Chinese food which she ordered in her fluent Mandarin. The last time I heard from Ellen, she told me she, Carl, and Luke would be moving from Hong Kong to Singapore. She knew I like to travel and said you'll have a place to stay in Hong Kong. Well that never...

Ellen's bright and generous smile always made life fun for everyone she was around. We shared so many happy times together. She will be sorely missed.

Wise, witty, generous of spirit and self, Ellen lived life and loved with integrity, passion, and great wisdom. I remember well our times together in Los Angeles and Hong Kong. Beautiful girl, true friend with a sterling character, I miss you and thank you for sharing the adventure of life.

Wow, Ellen, what a life. Grace and truth and beauty, and a friend. Many years ago, but fond memories. Theresa, if you see this, I would like to be in touch, [email protected]

Sad news. I hadn't seen Ellen for many years, but the times we shared remain memorable. She possessed a delightful zest for living, an infectious sense of humor, and genuine concern for her world and those living in it.

Ellen,
Your life is so wonderful and full of meaning. You have reached out so many people and made big difference in their life. We will love you and miss you always.

My cousin Ellen lived her lived fully and gracefully. She positively influenced so many people of all walks of life. She was a master storyteller who could entertain or inform at the "drop of a hat". I will miss her spirit and stories. Love, Cousin Kathleen Knoxville, TN

Ellen White was one the most influential people I have ever met. There are no words capable of expressing how saddened I am to learn of her passing. As one of her many students, she was a mentor to me during a profoundly difficult time in my life. I only wish I could have told her how much she truly affected me as both a teenager and an adult.

She was one of the most genuinely kind and thoughtful people I have ever had the privilege of befriending. I will never forget her.
