I was checking the Internet to see if I could find Ellen White and alas I did. I worked with Ellen in Hunter's Books in Beverly Hills for several years in the 1980s. We were good friends, saw a number of movies together, ate Chinese food which she ordered in her fluent Mandarin. Ellen White was one the most influential people I have ever met. There are no words capable of expressing how saddened I am to learn of her passing. As one of her many students, she was a mentor to me during a profoundly difficult time in my life. I only wish I could have told her how much she truly affected me as both a teenager and an adult.
She was one of the most genuinely kind and thoughtful people I have ever had the privilege of befriending. I will never forget her.
