Special memories of a wonderful lady whose company and interesting life was a joy and previlage to know her. We spent times discussing sport, politics and everything in general. Played many a game of cards. Could hold my own in most card games but never crib. Many thanks for your hospitality and friendship Auntie Nell. Condolences to all the family. We will miss you. I met Ellen on my first visit to Oregon in 1998. My memories of her were the sharp wit and that welcoming smile. A `True Blue´ Aussie at heart- One that we Australians are proud to call our own. Sylvia & Reinhard GARTNER

We met Ellen (Nell) in the early 90s. I was teaching with her daughter, Liz. I loved chatting with Ellen about many things: gardening, golfing and politics to name a few. We admired her feisty and competitive nature, especially while playing cribbage! I so enjoyed listening to her life´s stories, I´d ask questions just to keep her going. She did not disappoint, and we won´t forget her.
