Not sure what to say?

Served from 1958 till 1962. We were together as youngstyers all 4 years. Great buddy and had my back.So sorry for late rememberance . I did not know. Be proud as I am to have known him

I served with Larry in Belgium. He was a great mentor of young Marines like myself! The success of my Marine career was because of him. He was hard but fair. He will be missed. Rest In Peace 1stSgt

I served with Larry aboard the USS Springfield . From all that stationed with him we send our condolences to the family. Semper Fi !

Who knew Larry's fist name was Eller. Such a wonderful, kind and thoughtful man. I was always touched by his volunteer activities for patients at the VA hospital in Dallas. Larry would drive long distances to pick up veterans for their appointments and take them to the VA. God bless you Larry for your service to our country and for being my very good friend.

Just received the news from our mutual friend, Bob Singer. Great memories of serving with you in Brussels as a leader and comrade.
Eternal rest grant to him, Oh Lord...

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. Will miss our many phone conversations

We are deeply saddened and send our heartfelt sympathy. Larry was much more than our friend; he was more like a brother. We will miss his phone calls and long conversations. It doesn't seem possible and hope he is in a better place. Our memories of him will always be with us.
