Goodbye

I don't know if anyone is still viewing this page, but I want to add one more entry.

My brother, sister and I put Mom to rest atop Sandia Crest in Albuquerque on June 28, 2009. She picked a beautiful spot, too!

Goodbye, Mom

Sandra and I were blessed to meet Ellie on a cruise last year. She and Chuck were a delight to know and mix with. We are terribly saddened by her sudden passing and our thoughts and prayers are with Chuck at this time. Sandra and Terry.

I am Ellie's daughter-in-law, married to Russell Chapman. I will remember Ellie for her joy in living, her faith in God, her generosity, and the way her eyes sparkled when she smiled. I didn't get to see her often but Russell and I always knew we had her unconditional love. I will miss her but I know that she is with our Lord.

My Aunt Ellie inspired me as a young girl to achieve and persevere and to reach for the stars. In a very large way, I owe my passion for knowledge and education to her.

I loved her very much and valued the correspondence that we continued throughout the years.

I was only blessed to meet her once but she left a warm and energetic presence with me. Matt loved her deeply and I can see why.She was a very beautiful woman inside and out.I only Wish I could of gotten to know her better!! she was special....my love and prayers go to all the family!! she will be missed!!

I have known Mrs. Curtis for 11 + years, and have helped take care of her animals for that long, as well. I've never met a more involved and caring animal parent as she. It has been a pleasure knowing her, and she will be sadly missed. The staff of McGehee Clinic for Animals sends their thoughts and prayers to her family.

Grandma,
I will miss you deeply. I will miss your huge smile, that every time i saw you, it never seemed to fade. I only pray that I made you proud and that when you look down on us from Heaven you will always know how much you are loved and missed.

I love you Grandma

Ellie always had a smile on her face and something nice to say about everyone. I know how much she will be missed at the Second Presbyterian Choir. She did so many things behind the scenes to get the choir ready each week. She will be greatly missed.
