Elliot Belmont "E.B." SMITH

I just found out about EB's passing; very sorry to get that news. Wish I had stayed in touch over the years. I knew EB and Linda from Pratt Whitney in the late 1960's. Eliot was one of the most easy-going guys you would ever meet. I can vividly remember when some of us from the P&W rotating parts group would hang out at Eliot's house on Blue Heron Blvd just east of US1. EB was a good soul. People often write nice thoughts about a person after they pass. In Elliot's case, words do no justice in describing how good a person he was. I knew EB from our days playing in the band "Sundune". He encouraged me when I joined the band and we quickly became good friends. No matter what was happening, EB could makes you smile. He was a sensitive man who cared about others around him more than himself.

We got to know Eilliot and Linda when we all started up the Palm Beach Gardens Historical Society in 2008. Our field trips were a joy
for all of us but especially Elliot. Being from Florida gave Elliot a great perspective on the history of this area. He had great stories to share and we enjoyed them all.
