Apr 30, 1967 – Dec 2, 2011
On Friday, December 2, 2011 Elliott Lawayne Harris went home to be with the Lord. Family and friends will unite on Saturday, December 17, 2011, from 9 am until time of service 10 am at New Community Church of God in Christ 12435 Mattawoman Drive, Waldorf, MD.
Elliott LaWayne Harris, lovingly known as ""Wayne"" departed his life's journey on Friday, December 2, 2011. Wayne was born on April 30, 1967 in Washington, DC, to Richard and Martenia Harris. He graduated from Frederick Douglass Senior High School located in Prince Georges County Maryland. After receiving his high school diploma, Wayne was employed at Scott's Pools and Spas. After his career at Scott's Pools and Spas, Wayne became employed by Sauder Pools. At the time of Wayne's transition, he was employed by B&M Auto.
Wayne was affectionately and lovingly called ""Fat Boy"" by many of his closest friends and family. He was the spark that ignited his friends and family on many occasions. Wayne was spunky and slightly particular but beneath the outer surface was a loving person who cherished his family and friends dearly. He was truly a great man who was loved and adored by many.
Elliott Lawayne Harris leaves to celebrate his journey: his loving parents, Richard and Martenia Harris; his wife Robin Knoodle-Harris; two sons Justin Graham Harris and Anthony Stump; his beloved siblings; Richard Harris (Petey), LaDonna Turner, William Harris (Barry) and two sister-in-laws, Theresa Harris and Patsy Ford; his nieces and nephews Nancy, Tommy (Ashley), Kiara, Kevin, Andre and a host of other relatives and devoted friends. Wayne will truly be missed by many.
