Not sure what to say?

A treasure of a man.
I spent two holidays 'out West' with El and he was such a gentle, calm, patient, kind and light hearted man.
He loved nature and geology and the photographs he took on these trips I still have around my house He is warmly remembered every time they are admired. Sending love to all his family and those close to him.

Ollie and I met Elliott a little over a year ago when we moved across the street. He was the first to welcome us and we quickly became friends. We would often meet while we were outside and talk to each other- he had great stories and loved a good comedy! At one point I shared that I was putting off my colonoscopy. Elliott, rarely serious, looked me straight in the eye and made me promise I would go- and I did. We will miss him. It is still hard to believe we won't see Elliott returning from...

I lived part-time as his next door neighbor in Ormond Beech. I shall miss him when I return. His thoughtfulness and kindness was always apparent. Blessings

I have very fond memories of Jay ( I never called him Elliott ) way back to when we were 14-15 year old kids "hanging out" at the swim club together. Jay was the first one to start dancing on the rooftop Teens Only deck during one of our dance nights. He was a fun loving kid and this nature seems to have followed him into adulthood. He was a joy to see at our high school reunion in October. He wanted to continue the festivities all weekend. It was my pleasure to have known him. I send my...

El, a very special person to know. He gave so much of himself to everyone he knew.
He was an exceptional employee who would persevere with patience to accomplish every task he was asked to do.

With a heavy heart, I received the message from Barbara Marrow of our classmate Jay's passing. At our WHS reunion last Oct., Jay looked strong and wore his warm smile. He had an incredible life-giving attitude in spite of enduring so many procedures and much pain. He spoke of joyful trips and adventures with family throughout his ordeal. I remember Jay's friendliness, kindness and soft-spoken demeanor growing up. I pray God will comfort you with His presence in your loss and mourning. ...

I shall miss Jay. He truly was a kind and gentle person. Last October, at our 50th WHS reunion, Jay hung out with us, smiling, joking around, just like when we were 17 years old.
The spirit within endures, within family, friends, and all whom we touch. Jay had a strong spirit and he shall endure as well. Vic Barbiero
