Not sure what to say?

I thought of Grandpa today. The birds are singing, the sky is sunny, and flowers starting to bloom. I was reminded of his patience in caring for Grandma's roses and the yard work he loved to do.

Grandpa brought so much love and happiness to all those around him. I will treasure the stories he shared with me and time we spent together.

Ellis was truly an example of our Savior's love shining thru him. He was more our brother than brother-in-law. Will always remember our fun times playing Mexican Dominoes and Tile Rummy. Our trip to Disneyland with our kids, they wanted to be with Ellis & Betty more than us. Howard said his Obituary was a tribute to the wonderful man he was. We will also have him with us by his spirit and look forward to that time we will meet again in heaven.

Uncle Ellis, you have been truly the best example one could follow to know Jesus. You always made sure it was the right thing to do. As I watch how you and Aunt Betty's relationship was I would try to incorporate your example it into my own marriage. You have been a Great Uncle to Marc and Amber they looked up to you as a 'Grandpa' and they loved you very much. We had alot of yummy lunches together, laughs and trips to the mall. I will always remember pecan pie was your favorite and I will...

Ellis - I never did get that next batch of Mud Balls made for you!
What love you had for your Savior, your family and life! I will never forget the kind words you shared at Mom's service. We were so honored to have you officiate.
Keep the gates open for the rest of us!

Betty

We are Sorry to hear about Ellis passing away! I have known him since 1970 and even employed him in my glass shop back in the late 70's or early 80's. What a great man! For the last few years it has been the occational meetings at the Chuck A Rama. Wayne and Linda Thiel

Our love and prayers are extended to the entire McRoberts family. We treasured our friendship with Ellis and will have fond memories of our visits with him and Betty. He was a devoted Christian and a very caring and loving man. Christ's countenance radiated from his smile. He had that special way of making everyone comfortable with whom he came in contact. He will be missed. Myles and Berta Clough

Betty and family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We wish we had known Ellis longer but always enjoyed his sweet spirit and his sense of humor.Looking forward to seeing him again.

My heart is with all the family and Betty at this time. I know he will be greatly missed. But what a blessing to know he is with our Savior and whole again. Love you
