I accidentally came across this write up about Dr. Sissking while mindlessly scrolling through the obits.silive.com website. Sadly, I cannot tell you how surprised I was to see my absolute favorite doctor´s name and photo. I became his patient in 1973, when he was at the HIP in Stapleton. I worked with Dr.Sisskind at St. Vincent´s hospital in the 80s and 90s. He was a smart, patient man who took the time to teach and I learned a lot from him. Rest in peace Dr. Sisskind. My condolences to his family. " to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" 2Corinthians.

He's such a great n kind obn-gyn doctor who delivered my 3 babies by CSs 46, 44 n 42 years ago, plus he performed a tubal ligation for me. May he Rest in Peace Maida Marinaro

Dr. Sisskind was a wonderful doctor I was sad when he said he was retiring.

My sincere condolences, Dr. Sisskind delivered me 59 years ago and also my son, when I was 35. I thank him every day for my life. Because of my family history of breast cancer he started me on mammograms in my 30's. It saved my life I got breast cancer in my early forties and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here. I am forever grateful for all of his expertise and advice. Rest in peace

Dr Sisskind was such a wonderful Doctor! I was diagnosed with Placenta previa at 4 months pregnant. Dr Sisskind saved my son´s life. I am forever grateful. He was always so caring and understanding. Rest in peace Dr Sisskind you were the best doctor! My condolences to his family.

Dr Sisskind was a wonderful doctor and human being. As my doctor he was kind understanding and just great. Delivered my grandchild also. May he rest in peace

I will never forget the beautiful experience that I had when my son was born in 1980. He was so wonderful. Truly a gift to many. Prayers for his family and friends, I´m so sorry for your loss.
