ELLIS S. WILLIAMS, JR.

Cayce: Graveside services for Ellis S. Williams, Jr., 91, will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2006 at Gibson Cemetery, officiating will be Rev. Dr. Donald F. West. The family will receive friends from 4 -6 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia.

Mr. Williams, widower of Ruby Williams and Doris Williams, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2006. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Ellis S. Williams, Sr. and Mary North Williams. Mr. Williams was a graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School and a member of Whaley Street United Methodist Church. Mr. Williams retired from Colite Industries in West Columbia, after many years for service. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald G. and Andra Williams of Lexington; Jerry D. and Linda Williams of West Columbia; daughter, Rickie Wright of Lexington; sister, Caroline Wieschowski of Cayce; brother, Richard Williams of Albany, GA, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
