Not sure what to say?

I found myself thinking about Dr. Shaw today and was very pleased to find this dedication to him. He was one of those very special people that I would never forget. I lived in Culiacan from 1987 until 1993 as an on-site employee for Dole Fresh Vegetables who was partners with the Canelos for those years. Mr. Shaw,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN fighting the Japanese in the Pacific during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Elizabeth Shaw was my piano teacher for several years in the late 1950's. I remember my dad going to the farm in...

Condolences to the family. A fascinating man and one who did a lot for the people in Mexico. Where did he pass away - in Tucson or in Mexico?
