Please know that you have our deepest sympathy with this loss. Please find comfort in knowing that he is in heaven with great people and friends. We are all grateful to have had Elmer a part in our lives. His loss is ours too.

Dear LaVerne and family--My deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband and father. Elmer and my Dad, Ed, were such good friends, and to have them passing within a week of each other--one can't help but think they are chumming around together again. They had such good times. Dad was always concerned about Elmer and his health. At least they are both at peace and out of pain. God's blessings to all.

Dear Laverne, Ardeth & Family-
Please know that you have my deepest sympathy and kindest thoughts. I have nothing but fond memories of Elmer and you folks. When I was very little, he was the man who could "take off his thumb" and put it back on. He was truly part of and helped to make it "the greatest generation". My mom would talk about some of his war experiences he related to her and would frequently talk about the good times they had as kids growing up--despite the depression. I also remember the times we would see you folks at my grandparents' house and share the holidays. I'd like to think that they're dancing and listening to a "Big Band" and waiting for us to join the party. May God grant you peace with His assurance of being with our loved ones again soon.
